Feeding Directions

Feed Country Junction Protein Tubs free-choice to beef cattle on pasture or roughage rations. Make sure animals have adequate pasture or roughage available and are not starved for salt or minerals. A two week adaptation period may be required to establish a base consumption. Recommended consumption of Country Junction Protein Tubs is 0.1 kg per 100 kg of body weight daily. A 10-day supply of Country Junction Protein Tub product may be put out at one time. Provide at least one tub for every 15 to 20 animals.

If consumption of Country Junction Protein Tub product is lower than desired, be sure other sources of salt and/or minerals are not available and move tubs to areas more frequented by cattle. If consumption of Country Junction Protein Tub product is higher than desires, feed additional salt or mineral and move tub to areas less frequented by cattle.

If pasture and/or roughage supply inadequate energy for satisfactory growth, performance, or body condition, supplemental grain or good quality roughage should be fed.

CAUTION: Consumption of this product by sheep or goats may result in copper toxicity.
